Dark Icon's
Resizing
Saturday, December 24, 2005 by PoSmedley | Discussion: IconPackager
Does/has anyone else run into this? Is there a trick to fix this, like the number of pixels I have it set for when I begin in Photoshop or something like that? Or am I starting in too big a size? OR....
I dunno. I would like to hear from other's who have run into this and anyone who has figured a way around it or through it without compromising their original design and intention.
Thanks.

One little trick that helps some with the 'darkening' of resized png's to icons that HAS worked here and there has been to duplicate the image and set the copy to 'screen'. This has occasionally worked to lighten it and bring the detail back.
Still looking for other ideas, though.
