Please can anyone shed any light?

Window Blinds 5

Thursday, December 15, 2005 by twobadmice | Discussion: OS Customization

Ok here's my problem properly explained via the screen shot I've taken, I apologise for the size, however I felt it would be best to demonstrate the problem I am having with WB5. It seems that it isn't skinning properly and I for the life of me cannot figure out why.

Here's the problem

So as you can see certain windows are being skinned like My Documents folder, however my firefox window hasn't been correctly skinned neither has the program that's running behind.

Anyone have the skill to shed any light and adivse what I can do to resolve this?

BTW I am part through changing themes hence the odd cursor compared to the windowblind

Do you have them added to the 'per application' for exclusion?

In configure WB - there is a 'system information' - might copy and paste that in here.

and maybe some other possibly relevant info - OS including service packs, video card, etc - other regular system info stuff

which version of WB & trial or paid?

I'm assuming you've tried re-applying/rebooting/etc?

Could be your graphics card drivers... as you have a GTX 7800, are you using 81.94? They are a must have.

looks like you are using saferfox Epanded as your Firefox theme. Tyr defaulting your theme to firefox default. Also, if you are launching firefox from inside another application you may get this display problem. for example, when you "preview in browser" inside of Dreamweaver, sometimes you get this problem. Aside from that, I wouldn;t know about the Traktor DJ problem with the skin except to say that some software is written to specifically display a certain way, regardless of the style you have chosen, for example, iTunes does not skin, as the interface is written to specifically adhere to it's own theme.

I've been using Phoenity Modern & Nautipolis (FF 1.5) with no issues in skinning

Hi thanks for all your replies. I am running the latest nVidia drivers 81.95 as released on November 22.

The full version number of my windowblinds is: 5.00[b].006.

and using the basic firefox theme still hasn't made any difference.

Do you think I should reinstall Windowblinds?

We have had a couple of reports of issues on 64 bit windows with the later WB updates.

There should be a WB update out in the coming week which should resolve this.
