uploading images to sub-topic forums - How to

can someone please explain how to upload an image to a forum subtopic ie "December Desktop Screenshots" , when i try it asks for a url, do i need a personal website, if not, what do i enter in this field to post a screenshot to that forum...thanks for any help

The image needs to be hosted either from ayour own site or an image host. Peeps here mostly use ImageShack or PhotoBucket. If you try ImageShack, several links will appear after you click Host Image. Select the "direct link", copy it and click the Image button above your forum Comment. Paste the link into the dialog box & voilà!

go to a hosting site like photobucket(dot)com or imageshack {they're free - and there's others} - upload your picture there. Copy the http url generated there and paste that into the box that pops up here when you click 'image'

ok, thanks guys, i was really confuzzled on how everyone was doing it...i have webspace with my cable internet account...guess i should learn how to use it eh ?

If you are WC Subscriber then you can upload 25MB's of image content right here in your Personal's Site Photo Album. I find this more useful than running off to secondary sites.
