Bootskin on dual boot OS

Wednesday, December 7, 2005 by Klatuu Berada | Discussion: OS Customization

Is it possible to get Bootskin to work with a dual boot (XP Pro & XP 64) system?
If so...how? Thanks

I use it with dual boot, but both are 32's-- XP & Linux
No problem with this particular setup

Bootskin is installed on XP & doesn't affect the Linux side at all.

I wouldn't think installing bootskin would be any different in a dual-boot environment. Since you are replacing the bootscreen that comes up once the OS starts to load and the OS selection screen is before that. Have you tried just installing it on the XP Pro OS? That's what I would try first and see how it goes.

Good Luck!

Bootskin worked fine prior to the dual boot. Tried re-installing it to the XP Pro after
but no luck...
