Problem with the Taskbar
Wednesday, November 23, 2005 by Vertigov | Discussion: WindowBlinds
I've got a odd trouble with my taskbar when I try to apply WinBlind theme, specifically, after application, all the elements are changing properly except the taskbar; what is happening it's that the WinBlinds resets the taskbar's skin to the Win Classic and doesn't seem to change it anyway on the theme's one... I tried to play with preferences of the WinBlinds, it just doesn't work.
P.S. By the way, how can I manage to stick the DesktopX widgets to the desktop so that they don't be minimized after "show desktop" action ?

even after multiple reinstalls, the paid one does not skin the taskbar. just reverts to windows classic taskbar which plain sucks.
it skins the titlebar of my installed programs, but not xp directly-related folders(my music folder/my documents/etc).
could anyone please help us out?!? PLEASE.
my lappie:
(equipped w/ 4.0 version/xp/with an intel processor/6800 ultra/1.25 gb of ram ).

stop themes service.
click properties --> disabled.
restart.
windowsblinds will reload at startup. unload it.
run services.msc - restart themes. then, click on properties --> automatic
right click - display properties - xp theme.
reload windowsblinds.
booyah!
dunno. maybe just stopping and restarting themes service will be good enough.
hope this helps.
