WOOOOOOOHOOOOEEEYYY!!!! I'm over-joyed to have DSL...now i'll never leave WC!!!!

*Congratz* Cyberworld, Dial-up just doesnt cut it these days, and DSL is *ALOT cheaper than alot of dial-up ISP's

Thnx DZ, i know the difference is huge! Just imagine i used to get 80$ phone bills,now i'll be getting a steady 18$ per month!

Thnx everyone. Yup pages load alot faster, even if i have the lowest possible DSL, currently running at 256KB, will upload next year to 512KB. Progress comes in small steps i guess.

Run this http://www.dslreports.com/tweaks and follow the instructions to squeeze everything out of your connection. The TCPR default modem settings are set notoriously low.....

Anyone know a good tweaking utility for DSL Modems? Or where i can find info on my DSL Modem from within my PC/WinXP? Not sure why,but i don't see any DSL Modem in any hardware list!!! It has two connections,one with the network and one with my Ethernet card!

Out of curiosity do you have cable broadband out there?


Nope unfortunately Broadband Internet has not come yet. The best line here is 4MB Business DSL Line,but the prive is scyrocketing, sooo i'll just settle for 256kb DSL.
