Hide applications in SDC?

Thursday, November 17, 2005 by ZubaZ | Discussion: Stardock Support General

I see that it's possible to hide applications in SDC after I've installed them. But how do I hide apps that I haven't?

For example, I'm never going to buy Tribal Trouble. I never want to see it . . . can I make it go away?

You sure can! Do this:

  • View->Show/Hide Applications
  • Uncheck "Tribal Trouble" and anything else you don't want shown

Sorry milksama, but that doesn't appear to be correct. Anything "For Sale" in SDC cannot be hidden, if the item has not been purchased. I have items in the Misc section marked as 'hidden', but they still show.

I have the latest SDC and I haven't purchased Blog Navigator and nor will I. I just went to the View menu and unchecked Blog Navigator in there and it doesn't show anymore in SDC (and I don't have the demo installed either). The only message I see about hiding stuff says that Unregistered Shareware versions will not be hidden.

Hey, how about that....... the latest version does indeed allow things to be hidden.
