Saving my widget layout?

Just installed DesktopX and spent hours arranging the widgets on my desktop. I thought I had the layout saved but when i tried to reload it the widgets never came back! 
I clearly don't understand the concept. When I put my computer into hibernation and then restart it all my widgets are where I left them (of course) but how do you turn them all off (shutting off widgets while the computer is running) and then turn them back on where you left them? Aside from F10 to hide them. I'm new to this so any help is appreciated.

Ugh, I disagree 100%. I like as little as possible to start with Windows. Not only that, there are times when I simply don't want those widgets running (eg. playing a resource intense game or such), and I should be able to close one process and have them all go bye-bye, then run one single process and have them all reappear. I don't think I should have to set them all to do start with Windows, afterall, I don't with any other widget program. With Kapsules, dotWidget, Konfabulator, etc. it saves all my widgets and their position on exit, and they start up in the same place with the same settings when I start the program.
I simply can't believe that everybody wants to have an additional 1-10 widgets starting up automatically with Windows, nor wants to have them running 100% of the time. I am sure others would like to be able to open WidgetManager.exe and have all the widgets load in the right place with the same settings. I have bugged Brad about this multiple times, and he finally even agreed it would be a good idea to include, but it hasn't happened yet.
On the other hand, you can always import your widgets to DesktopX or DXBuilder and save them as a .desktop. Then they will all load when you want them by simply running DesktopX.exe or DesktopXBuilder.exe. The problem with this is you lose some of the right click menus for some widgets that really need them, as well as the overall shadow and opacity tools that the widgets have.
Long post short, until DesktopX can save Widgets (as Widgets, not objects) and load them all whenever the user wants (not just at startup), it has a serious shortcoming when compared to just about every other widget app out there.
