Flashing Taskbar Colour

Monday, November 14, 2005 by JG_Pliskin | Discussion: OS Customization

I like to use sleek, silver themes with Windowblinds, but most of them make it hard to notice the flashing of the taskbar, especially when using things like MSN. Is there anyway I can change the colour of a flashing taskbar? Thanks in advance.

What I've done is edit the color of the flashing button with photoshop. You can browse through the skin's folder for the buttonflash.tga (example of the name) or open the skin with skinstudio to find the exact name of the button, then recolor it.

I don't mean to be rude, but is there anyway you, or anyone else could do this for me? I'm really an amateur with these things, I only really use them rather than edit them.

Email me the skin you want to change and tell me what color you want the flashing button. Craig at cdoman dot com. I can do it tonight if you send it over.
