Toolbars working in WB5?
odd
Sunday, November 6, 2005 by tarinuk | Discussion: New Releases
I can't get it to work no matter which skin I use/and/or toolbar button set.
Probably a bug but would be good to know if anyone has a solution.
Cheers

Not really bothered about the browser as I'm using FF. It's the Windows explorer buttons I'm trying to change. I have 'Always use toolbar icon set selected below' ticked but doesn't make a difference.
I still have the WinXP buttons on all my WIndows explorer windows.
Do the toolbar icons only work for IE and not WIndows Explorer?
Cheers for help mate.

If you have an explorer (or IE) window open, that window will not change toolbars until you reopen the window. If you are trying to skin a browser other than IE5-6, most aren't compatible and you will not see a change no matter what. Firefox, Opera, Avant are among the browsers that use a different skinning method/code.
If this is not the problem, try to give more specific detail as to what you are doing to get the toolbar to change and what kind of result you get, the more detail the better chance someone will have of giving positive solution to your problem/issue with WB5.
