OD dock image problem.

Friday, November 4, 2005 by Cavan1 | Discussion: Docks

I am working on a OD dock, when applied at top or bottom it looks right, when left or right top or bottom, depending on which side does not display properly.
Top image and how it displays

Left image and how displays

OutsideBorderBottom=0
OutsideBorderLeft=10
OutsideBorderRight=10

[BackgroundLeft]

LeftWidth=1
TopHeight=1
RightWidth=1
BottomHeight=1
OutsideBorderTop=10
OutsideBorderBottom=10
OutsideBorderLeft=0
OutsideBorderRight=10

[BackgroundRight]

LeftWidth=1
TopHeight=1
RightWidth=1
BottomHeight=1
OutsideBorderTop=10
OutsideBorderBottom=10
OutsideBorderLeft=10
OutsideBorderRight=0

[BackgroundTop]

LeftWidth=1
TopHeight=1
RightWidth=1

I am using free version of OD, is this a limitation of it, a OD bug or skinner error.
Thanks.

When posted I did leave a line between the left images,right now they are together. Have edited four times, they just want to stay together.

What exactly are you trying to do Cavan. I haven't used the free version so I don't know what the limitations are with that. You can write me directly if you want. My nick at msn.com

Neat effect, if you figure out how you did it it might work to display a graphic or logo.

First off Webgizmos is the authority here, but I noticed you have a space between the equals sign on these lines not consistent with all the other lines. You know how picky some programs can be...

Hey Lantec, I just corrected the spacing, no change. Thanks for the response.

Just got it to work. Set all 4 borders to 10, now have the 3 border look I wanted. Had to set left for left, so screen edge side, right for right to 10 to get top on left and bottom on right border to show.
For top and bottom, top is 0 bottom is 0 and works fine.

And as far as the spacing as Lantec pointed out...I noticed this as well when I first started making these things, but it's never seemed to matter one way or the other. Just make sure your spelling is correct though. I had accidently typed a upper case I instead of the lower case i in the word "Right" and it drove me nutz until I realized what i did.

That upper and lower case thing can be a pain, but I am used to it from the BeatNik and Bootskin skins I have made.
