Desktop X freezeing

Grrr. I just answered in your other thread, and when I hit "submit" I got an "the article in request does not exist"-message.
He got trigger happy on the delete key for a few posts. Johnnypants, you could've just edited your post rather than deleting it 
From the deleted article:
Does this happen with all your DX-themes? Have you tried and applied another theme? Are you running widgets? Which versio of DX are you using?
I know those are a lot of questions, but if you got any widgets running I would suggest to kill one by one and see whether your system improves.
If that doesn't work, try to clear the widget cache by deleting everything in c:\Documents and Settings\"your account name"\Local Settings\Application Data\Stardock\DesktopX\WidgetCache (do the same for the GadgetCache folder).
If that doesn't work either save your current Desktop, then delete everything in c:\Documents and Settings\"your account name"\Local Settings\Application Data\Stardock\DesktopX\CurrentTheme. This will cause DesktopX to start with the default theme the next time. You can then try and load your saved theme again.

Anyway, lets try this again. What versio of DX are you using? Does this problem happen with all themes or just with one? Do you use any Widgets?
Try the following:
First: Try to remove any widgets one at a time and see whether your system improves (sometimes older widgets can clash with newer versions of DX).
Second: If that doesn't work, try and clear your Widgets and Gadgets cache by deleting everything in c:\Documents and Settings\"your account name"\Local Settings\Application Data\Stardock\DesktopX\WidgetCache (do the same for the GadgetCache-folder).
If that doesn't work either, save your current desktop. Then delete everything in c:\Documents and Settings\"your account name"\Local Settings\Application Data\Stardock\DesktopX\CurrentTheme. This should cause DX to start up with a blank theme the next time. You can then try and reload your saved Theme.
