Right Click Causes Object Bar to crash

Thursday, October 27, 2005 by MetalHellsAngel | Discussion: RightClick

I love right click, but for some reason whenever I have object bar running and I try to right click on the desktop the menu opens but then Object bar crashes...Very strange. Any ideas what I can do to fix this?

Thanks in advance,
Angel

No ideas but had similar performance problems with OB2 and RightClick both active. When I RightClick-ed the menu would flicker and go away. I had to re-RightClick several times before it would work. I don't think they play well together.

Let's ask Mike from Stardock Support...

I believe the problem is the fact that Right-Click is actually an OB-bar itself. So if you have both OB and Right-click running, you have basically two instances of the same program running.

On my system, whenever I try to start OB, Right-click will just unload (or dissapear anyway).

very strange, I wish I could figure out a way to make them both run.

I think the only way around this would be to create or add a Right-click like bar to your current OB-theme. Haven't tried that one yet, since I am just too lazy.
