Weather Locations and Malicious Script Warnings

Hi. Just a couple of questions.
1. I live in Queensland, Australia and I am unable to configure the weather for here. Unlike Desktop Sidebar, Quadrangle/Dark Professional for example, keep telling me that my zip code (4825), doesn't appear valid. I try Mt Isa, Queensland or Australia, and I get the same message.
2. On a few occasions, I receive a 'malicious script' warning, asking me whether I should stop it, allow it once, authorise etc. Why does this happen, and what are the implications for allowing once, or authorising it?

Most of the weather objects are using weather.com's numbers. You'll need to use their code for it.

Ok ...for the weather widget, Try entering this into the configuration: ASXX0079 [Mt. Isa's weather code]
You may need to select the nearest large city to Mt Isa, as it is rather remote.
You may need to choose Townsville, Australia [ASXX0117] ..or where I am.... Cairns, Australia [ASXX0020]
[deliberately written that way, as thats how you need to enter the info]
As far as the malicious script warning ...if it's coming up when you load a DesktopX widget ~you can safely let it authorize.
Good luck, and I hope that helps.

That usually happens with the widget stores information in the registry. Norton will give you a warning when it retrieves and stores information.

That usually happens with the widget stores information in the registry. Norton will give you a warning when it retrieves and stores information.

As Bichur said this is a Norton thing,had that for some time and then i set it to allow it to run the script and just stopped bugging me.
