WC Browser defaults to last read newgroup

Hey All,
This is my only complaint about the WC Browser and probably my fault I would imagine. Every time I close and re-open the browser and click on the News/Web Browser button, it tends to default back to my last newsgroup where I posted. I'm not sure why? In addition, If there's a way to change the "open link in default windows browser" option to Opera I'd be grateful, since that's actually my default windows browser.. Lol.. I'd prefer Opera instead of IE. My IE works normally from the desktop but doesn't load the links up when they are clicked on from the WC Browser, I just get a blank IE window.
