how to apply explorer toolbar visual styles

Sunday, September 25, 2005 by seanarmenta | Discussion: Beginners

i have the uxtheme patch, and i'm having no problems installing msstyles. but some packages come with styles for the explorer toolbar as well as icons (i have icon packager)... but it doesn't seem to apply it. is there a way to manually do this without having to use windowblinds or themexp?

also, is there a way to change the "turn off computer" window?

thanks!

If you refer to shellstyle, the best way is through skinstudio, changing the "turn off computer window" is not possible under msstyles.

I stronly suggest to use windowblinds, it doesn't hack your kernel and is much safer than patching uxtheme.dll as you don´t have the risks when installing service packs o just microsoft patchs
