StyleXP / UXTheme Multi-Patcher

Saturday, September 10, 2005 by thomasthomas | Discussion: OS Customization

hi guys.

a bit of confusion for me here. what's the difference between using the uxtheme multi-patcher (neowin) and stylexp to change/apply visual styles? to the best of my knowledge, i need both to accomplish this but i uninstalled stylexp with the patch still in place and i'm still able to change my visual styles. so... is stylexp necessary or will the patch be just fine? sorry for the long question but i just don't wanna run stylexp if i don't have to.

thanx guys!

They are seperate programs but they do the same thing. I haven't seen a stylexp skin yet that I thought was worth installing the risky programs.
