Hmmmmmm...Kansas needs citizens so bad they will give away land and New Orleans has thousands of citizens that just lost their land. Do the math.

Wow, I live in Kansas and I've never heard of this. Maybe, we who already live here aren't supposed to get free land...We have to work hard for everything we get out here because the wages are terrible.
