I got my email the other day saying it was the last communication I'd ever get from JASC. From now forward all communications and support has finally transferred over to Corel.
I'm also using version 8 because I couldn't figure out if 9 was an upgrade or if they just parsed out some of the functionallity to increase revenues.

The Jasc site used to have a straight forward list of new features from 8 to 9, but Corel did away with that.
But this site http://www.techtastic.ca/reviews4/psp.html has a list of the new features.
I just received my PSP X today, haven't installed it yet.
