IconX problem with the Recycle Bin

Hi,
I'm using the latest versions of IconX (1.10.007) and DesktopX (3.10.042). I'm using the Default IconX theme. I'm using the marcintesh os-w icon set. My problem is that every time the Recycle Bin changes state (delete or empty), the label for the RB gets messed up. The text halfway disappears and the bg image seems to be stuck between the mouse over and mouse away states. As soon as I roll my cursor over the RB icon, it returns to normal. I have a dual-monitor setup in extended (not clone) mode and the problem is not specific to either monitor. TIA.

ATI Radeon 9800 Pro w/5.4 Catalyst drivers
