lost "browse to file" functionality in all applications

I am no longer able to use the "browse to file/folder" dialog in winXP in "Save As" dialog boxes, I think it may be related to WB somehow.
Symptoms:
1)I click the "Browse" button and the screen momentarily flashes, then redraws the dialog box- right where I started form.
2)I think it is also happening in an i2 Trade Matrix app I use at work... we are able to export text files with a report button in a dialog box. Usually when the button is clicked, you get a navigation dialog and are able to select what folder you want to pump the file to. I click the button and no joy.
I am dreading the call to IT support and would reallllly (that was a five "l" really) like to fix this on my own.
Any help would be very appreciated!

Thanks, I found the problem to be caused by how I set up my hooks in "RightClick" Whew!
