Hi,

I want to add a search bar to my desktop... So i need an inputBox so i can type in the query-string. Where can i find such an object, or how can i make one?
Also i want to access the current selected text, to use when no input was given. How to access this variable?
Another nice feauture would be to access the clipboard text, to use as the search-string. How to access this variable?

thanks!

You could use the DesktopX Edit Control (ActiveX), or Thomassen made one from scratch: Link

In any case, you will want to check out the documentation: https://www.stardock.com/products/desktopx/documentation/index.html
