i'm new to os customization and have so far done some minor tweaking to make my windows xp box more visually appealing but it's still not complete. i really want to use object desktop to change my gui but can't afford it right now. is there a FREE program out there that will let me do this until i save enough money for it? i read about another program called stylexp but that costs money too. any help is greatly appreciated - thanx!

After restoring where possible with the program(s), unload all programs > right-click desktop > Properties > click Theme tab > select Windows XP in the Themes drop-down list > click "Apply".
Once you have Windows XP set back to defaults, you can safely uninstall the programs.
Hint - for Icon Packager, you will use the "Tools menu > Restore All Icons" > click Yes to confirm > click OK button. Repeat for Restore all Cursors, and Rebuild Icon Cache - both found under Tools menu. That will safely restore all to default.

- WindowBlinds
- Icon Packager
- DesktopX
- Cursor XP
Throw in ObjectDock, and you will good for at least 30 days with all of them.
You can then download a limited amount of content for free from the libraries here at WinCustomize.
