Right Click as a Theme Repository

Friday, August 19, 2005 by jeff graper | Discussion: RightClick

I've been using right click as a theme repository. If you set it to use WB skin, it creates a directory associated with each WB skin used. You can then put things like style sheets or "Top Bar" type images in the repository and they are copied into the "current skin/popup" directory. Then path things like active desktop styles or topbars to the current skin directory and they automatically change with your WB skin. I even put a DX widget for each skin (have to reuse the same name) in the repository and a shortcut to it in the startup folder, so the correct widget starts whenever I log on.
Just wanted to say thanks for the opportunity to do some automation.
