Problems with IconX/DesktopX and RazerHid
Friday, July 8, 2005 by myarmor | Discussion: Bug Reports
The program sometimes locks up the taskbar and mostly everything else, or just throws the big blue screen.
When I terminate the RazerHid then the taskbar functions as normal again.. This occurs only when those programs AND the RazerHid are running..

But the Razer driver thingy still remains.. It seems that I can remove that too, but at the same time some of the features which that particular mouse has seems to disappear.. With 'those' in "This occurs only when those programs AND the RazerHid are running.." i meant one of IconX and/or DesktopX..
Below are the link to the Razer website, which is the company providing the mouse and drivers (I have the newest of those drivers). I have asked/notified them too, but this is the first program I've encountered which seems to clash with it, so I'm a bit surprised..

I'm quite new to the OD, but I really like the apps, so it is a shame that those seem to clash..

To recap, the problem I mentioned are still there, but to a lesser degree after some emails to Razer support.. Together we tried some things, and strangely it seems that swithing the usb ports of Lexus Jumpdrive and Razer cured _some_ of the problem..
Still crashes sometimes, but now it is mostly stable..
But thanx anyway..

Since you don't know what it does, then you're probably not using it. From the what I'm reading on these sites, you may want to kill it, and see if that clears things up for you.
