Silica RSS broken?

It has been a while since the Silica RSS widget (or Gadget for that matter) has worked for me. It won't load any rss feed and gives me an error about failing to load. This is with any external feeds I try or any of the preloaded ones. Other RSS reader widgets work just fine. Any ideas? I would love to get it working again.
