In progress: Star Wars cursors

Tuesday, July 5, 2005 by Kyle Hemsley | Discussion: New Releases

Well u guessed it...more STar Wars cursors in the world. But these are lightsabers with realistic hilts/blades. I amde a pack of em once but they werent very graphically convincing because of the ms paint use. But now that i ahve photoshop expect them to be far superior. maybe later ill post the first screenshots

You should work on your preview images. Showing a single cursor doesn't really represent the set very well. At the very least, a screenshot of your CursorXP window would show the first few of them.

Already had an excellent lightsaber design from Island Dog back at the end of April. And yes could use a better screenshot. Some get so fancy with their screenshots that you can't tell if its even something you want to use.

I don't understand why you would submit a set with known bugs. If the bugs will be fixed in a few days, why not wait the few days before you upload?

The hot spot jumps around too much for my liking. Any cursor that has me constantly chasing the hot spot, depending on what mode it switches to, doesn't last long on my system.

I also find it odd that you admit that it's too large and you use it at 60% on your own system. Wouldn't you want to make it what you think is the right size, and then let others adjust for their own tastes?

the hot spot is in resonable palces for the places, text in the middle, selects at the end hmm hey i sjut got an idea to improve it! I'll make the graphics and someone else does animation and configuration anyone who wants to do this e-mail me @ [email protected] I will credit you in the description. Oh and by the way animation is also yours. Ill give u how I want it and you do it Because animatioon aint my thing . This partnership will start with the Darth Vader edition. Oh, and to the guy that amde the Tronnix cursors, how did you make the animation that plays once and stops at the last frame?

I no longer have it installed, but from what I remember, it was especially frustrating when moving from the regular cursor to a link, especially if you were borderline, where it would go back and forth. Just way too much jumping around.

Yea hotspots never were my strong suit, thats why im mgonna outsource it. I suck at animation so im outsourcing that too. If anyone is a good animator please tell me cuz i need an animator and a hotspot dude. Or both in one
