Theme manager will not apply newer suites

Sunday, July 3, 2005 by Frye2005 | Discussion: Theme Manager

I have the latest release of theme manager and WB but the newer suites will not apply. It dl's the files but thats all, it just goes back to the main interface. I.E. "perth" etc.
Am I doing something wrong? I have no clue how to correct this.

Do you have all the necessary software installed to run all the individual elements of the suite you are trying to apply?

I do not have a solution for getting Theme Manager to apply the themes, but you can do the applying manually by changing the ".suite" file extension to ".zip" and extracting.

After extraction, double-click the ".ini" file > look in the "Files" section of the ".ini" file > copy each address individually (from the "http" to the end of each line) > paste into your browser address box > click "Go" or hit enter.

This will invoke the download "save as" dialog > save each file to your computer > after all files are downloaded, extract as necessary, and apply each manually.

For the Perth suite, there is a read-me which includes the Rainlendar address for download (not listed in the ".ini" file).

Sorry I do not have anything better to offer at this time.
