iconx default icon for files ??

It seems sometimes icons files are not the same in
- the explorer
or
- on the desktop with iconx
It happens with files where icons have been changed manually (with the icon properties).
On the desktop, iconx gets the icon for the files viewer, and not the customized files I've set in the explorer.
Is there a way to match both files icons ??
