The Use Of IMAP Servers

Monday, June 27, 2005 by wwww123 | Discussion: DesktopX

Where is the love for use of IMAP servers being integrated into DesktopX? POP3 is by far the most popular email server, but AOL, one of the biggest ISPs uses IMAP servers. I use AOL, and I'd like to have support for my email client. WorkShelf v1.8 supports them, but it only gives you a 30 day trial unless you purchase it.

So where do you stand on this issue? Will you try to integrate it into your work? Is it even possible for DesktopX to use IMAP servers? Honestly, I'm not that educated in the coding business... but I know some stuff. Thanks guys.

DesktopX has two plugins that allow for email checking and both support IMAP. Several of the DX objects and widgets are built around these plugins. Check the respective libraries.
