Newbie needs help! please!

ok i have made a task bar,startmenu and a internet explorer,
first a couple of questions about internet explorer-:
1)Is it possible to set it to deafult browser,hence when you click a link and it opens a new window it uses my new internet explorer not the windows one.
2)Is it possible so when you click a download it opens a save box that i have made and not the windows one.
3)Is it possible to make a maximize or resize for internet explorer
Making a windows explorer a few question
1)Is it possible to use navigate2 to view special folders or pIDL
example-:
My Computer
Recycle Bin
Control Panel
Atm i can browse these folders but only after i go to c:\ and select my computer from the list, but if i try Control.Navigate2 "c:\My Computer" in my script it gives me cant find page ?
so i supose my script needs to be somthing like
control.navigate2 "c:\" ----: To open my C
directory
?????????????????????? ----: To Select My Computer from left hand list
any help appreciated
