cannot write in registry

hi all,
i use BootSkin 1.06 [4/26/04] Free version
and have a XP sp2 german multiuser system.
i checked the random bootscreen.
if i log in as an admin. no problems.
if i log in as a non admin, the i got some errormessages that the keys cannot be written to the registry
i think because of no rights.
can anyone tell me WHERE these registry settings are stored, so i can allow this user to write in?
