Toolbar icons

Thursday, June 9, 2005 by keymastr1008 | Discussion: WindowBlinds

I posted this problem several months back and never got a response - just checking to see if anyone else has this problem or knows of a fix (or is it a known issue?).

I have WB installed on a Windows 2003 Server. Everything works great except for the toolbar buttons. I can't get the WB toolbar icons to replace the default Windows icons. I have tried setting my preferences to force a certain toolbar set, and also used the "use whatever icons are in the WB theme" - neither of those does the trick.

Any ideas?

Nothing? Not even a simple "that's a known issue"... or "it should work"? Does anyone else have WB installed on a Windows 2003 Server? Do the toolbar icons work for you?

Was it that long ago that you posted the problem? Just tonight I was searching for it to see if anyone had come up with answers, and I found this post first. I have the same problem, but only with certain skins, particularly "Anai". With other skins, the toolbar buttons change, but with Anai, the standard Window buttons stay, and I have tried all the things you mentioned above. Even deleted and downloaded the skin again. I sure wish someone would address this problem.

I think I remember something from another thread about checking the icon size. Some skins only have icons that will change the large or small sized icon choice (size is dependent upon the skin's creator). Changing from the size you currently have to the other size (big to small or vice-versa) may help. Don't forget to refresh and/or reboot to see if they've changed. Hope this helps.

I had the same problem. Digital is right, some of the theme icons will only work either in big or in small.

Go into customize toolbar in explorer and try changing the icon size. Either refresh or close out explorer after changng size
