DesktopX seems to be version confused?

I have had this problem with a couple of different builds of DesktopX 3. I go to load a .dxtheme extention and DesktopX pops up and says that there are some plugins that arent compatible and have been blacklisted. Seems normal. However when i read it again it said that they werent compatible with version 2! I am extremely sure i am running version 3 as i have redownloaded it from the stardock website just yesterday. I have also tried different builds on DesktopX 3 from other websites but with all the same problem. This has happened on around 10 desktops each loaded with a different build.
I am running Windows XP SP2.
Please help if possible
