color

when i paste a picture from online to paint, the color changes can someone tell me why and how can i fix this so that the color could be the way it was.
i'm useing MS paint

paste into an image program instead like the free irfanview program. MS paint is rather archaic in my opinion.

I found no color change pasting to MS Paint.
If paint is all you have download paint.net, it is free and is much better than MS Paint.

It must be the color tables, try another graphics proggy, there are many freeware fleeing the market. Oh also what image are you trying to copy?(jpeg,gif,other?)
