How can I stop autorunning DesktopX?

If I don't unload DesktopX 3.0 before shutting down Windows, it will automatically run when Windows starts. I have not set DesktopX to run automatically and it is not in my (or All Users) Startup folder. I've looked in the obvious Registry locations but have not found what is causing it to run automatically.
Is MCP causing this? Can I stop it?
