ATI HydroVision with Stardock products

I am currently using ATI's HydroVision software with my Stardock software. I noticed many features overlap in such Stardock software as WindowFX (such as shadowing and transparencies). Should such overlapping features be enabled on HydroVision? Or would enabling the features on both cause slow downs and conflicts? Also, which Windows special effects should be enabled when using WindowBlinds?
