I'm a bit confused about a couple of things and would appreciate if anyone would care to share some light.

I want to get rid of the taskbar (I know how to do this) and create an object bar with objects I create and links to open windows that normally show up on the task bar.

1. Can I do this with desktopx?
2. Do I need Objectx instead?
3. What's the difference between them?

Too many programs and options have me generally confused.

Thanks
