DesktopX RSS Readers and the Slashdot Feed
Why are they not compatible?

I have tried many of the DesktopX RSS readers on the site, and none of them work with the Slashdot RSS feed at http://slashdot.org/index.rss . Does anyone else have this problem? Does anyone know how to make the Slashdot feed readable by the DesktopX readers? Thanks!

Also, if your reader refresh too often you get blocked from /. for a little while. If it repeats you get blocked for longer time.
