Please Help

Sunday, May 29, 2005 by jay2k5 | Discussion: Stardock Support General

I had a dogmaX theme for my computer but last night my batteries died and today when I recharged and turned on my laptop desktopX is not loading correctly, it's not hiding the orginal desktop icons and I can't really find that option anywhere. any ideas?

What version of DesktopX are you using? If you are using DesktopX 3 or later change into DesktopX Builder > then right click onto the icon in the system tray > 'Configure DesktopX Builder' > 'Desktop' > 'Hide Desktop Icons'

If you are still using 2.4 you should be able to directly right-click on the system tray and then hit 'Configure DesktopX' or 'DesktopX Settings' (I can't remember what it said). The 'Hide Desktop Icons' option should be around the same place.
