System Tray Icon

Sunday, May 8, 2005 by DjStoic | Discussion: DesktopX

I think in previous versions of Desktop X there was an option to have, or not have, an icon in the system tray. I can't find any such option in DX3, can I get rid of the DX system tray icon some other way?

I have the same problem, I thought I had found the option for the system tray but i think it was for taskbar in the end, anyways cant find it either and its really bugging me having those in the tray. I have the same problem for Object Dock.

Pull up the welcome window
right click on it and choose properties

Thought I had a winner there but no. That loads up a seprate system tray for access to the welcome window, so if i have that one turned on to system tray i will have two desktopx icons. But the tooltip for new one is for Welcome screen. Do you not have it on your system tray Bichur?
