Problems after installing 4.51.047

I have tried 2 times to update windowblinds from 4.51.045 to .047 released 4/14/05 it seems to take about 20 min. to download (im on 3mb highspeed)and after it installs and i reboot everything looks like the old win98 clasic style, if i try to choose a skin theme from Display properties/apperance my PC just freezes, even if i try to choose clasic or windows XP style it will freeze, I have to push the RESET button on my PC.
Even trying to restore to 4.51.045 from stardock central I just get pop up errors like xxxx.zip not found reinstall Stardock Central, but if i Uninstall Windowblinds/reboot/install from Archive-restore i can get 4.51.045 back. Has anyone else had this problem? and if so plese point me to the correct thread
