Cross Reference Not Working... UGH!

Hey everyone,
I just started getting a message saying that I've downloaded too much over the years and that I need to buy a subscription. Here's the problem. I keep my Object Desktop subscription active (paid again in February) and I purchased Object Dock and Cursor XP in September 2004. When I try to cross reference the e-mail address that I used to purchase those items, it tells me I'm a past customer.
From everything I've read this shouldn't be happening. Is that right? If not, what's the deal? I pay $35 a year for the software, and am expected to pay $20 every two years on top of that to use it?
