Get Firefox to push the dialup window foreward

Saturday, April 9, 2005 by Thomas Thomassen | Discussion: Windows Software

At my parents computer it's only an ISDN line. Something I noticed is that whenever the dialup window appear, asking to connect, it appears behind the Firefox window instead of in front. Does anyone know how to make it automaticly appear in the forground?

Is FireFox default browser, sounds like it is not, are you clicking to open connect window to use FF, then clicking
to open FF, if this is case, open FF first, then click to open connect window. If FF is default it should open it and
connection window when open FF, and connect window should be on top. If you can set ISDN to dial automatically it will not matter where it opens as you will not need to click anything. You should be able to set it to remember password and to dial automatically.

Firefox is the default browser. I'm only starting Firefox, and if I then isn't online the dialup window aill appear, but behind Fx, not infront. I don't really want it to connect automaticly with an ISDN line incase some program or whatever should try to connect to the internet without me knowing it.

If you have IE installed, in connections, is it set to dial when ever or never dial?
I have FF set as default, but I don't usually open it 1st. I connect 1st, then FF opens once the connection's made.

I previously had trouble with the dialup window until i set to never dial.
