Autostart of DesktopX

Hello,
since i few days i have DesktopX installed on my PC and i like it.
But there is a problem.
Every time after restarting all the Widgets are gone (Desknotes and so)
and DesktopX never runs. It is gone from the taskbar.
Is it because it is Freeware or is it usual?
Btw: Konfabulator(also Freeware) runs after restarting my PC!
I work with WIN XP Pro SP-2

DesktopX... in the DesktopX Builder Settings dialog > Preferences tab > check "Run automatically when Windows starts".
