How to add or change programs in a theme?

Saturday, April 2, 2005 by kellman | Discussion: DesktopX

I just purchased the end user version of DesktopX 3.0. I downloaded the ThredzX theme but I have been unable to find out how I can add links to other programs. The only options I have when right clicking on objects is "Remove". Any help would be appreciated. I have spent about an hour looking through post but have not found an answer.

That theme was designed prior to DX3 where you quite some times had to edit the theme your self. Not sure if that theme has its own built in configuration, but doesn't seem like it by the sound of it. In that case you have to Use "DesktopX Builder" to edit the theme. Unless you are using the "Client" version, "DesktopX Builder" should be in the folder where you got DX installed. You should be able toget to "DesktopX Builder" by rightclicking the DX icon in the systray and choose "Welcome" or something like that, then you should be faced with a new window that have a "Create" button to the bottom of the window.
