Afew questions about Firefox...

Well of all people you wouldn't expect a Firefox post from me but I have to use Firefox while using Linux so I have some questions!
Problem number 1 - In IE I can click anywhere in the adress bar and the whole bar gets highlighted so that when you go to type in the bar all the old text disappears allowing you to input a new internet address. I have noticed in Firefox that it dosen't work this way. Can I get an extension that will do that for my? I really don't like having to click and highlight and backspace and delete everything to input a new internet address.
I know I have other questions - when I think of them I'll post them. At least I don't have to worry about spy/ad/malware while using FF.

I don't think it's a Firefox issue but a Linux issue. Must check later when I reboot in Linux.

Because Linux comes with Firefox - and thats it when your using GNOME...

I noticed my wheelmouse will not scroll websites either!! Is there a option I'm overlooking?

Must be a linux thing..My scroll works just fine with FF and Thunderbird..I do not know a thing about Linux.might it require other drivers for things like scrolling to work?

OK, typing this from Linux, using Firefox.
To get the whole address selected, double-click on it. And Mouse Wheel works fine here.

Or you should be able to click Alt-D to have your cursor go to the address bar with text highlighted ready to be typed over

Did you make sure you set your mouse correctly in Linux? 3-Button Scroll mouse is usually the most common setting.

No worries guys - I'm back to using IE. Before I dictched Firefox I got the wheelmouse to scroll.
