Verticle Shaped Docks

Can someone give me a walk through on how to get the look Im going for. Do I use a dock or tab? I am using Obj Dock Plus. I would like a single tab/dock set up. Docked horizontaly (say on the bottom) but to be vertical shaped and pull out like a drawer. All icons would be stacked in a row going up rather than across. Many thanks in advance. "T"

According to the ObjectDock Plus article https://www.wincustomize.com/Articles.aspx?AID=29048 it can be done, but you would have to set up individual tabs (as their own dock)...here's a quote from that article:

Thanks for the links. I did learn something new but there wasnt any info about how to get the tabs to run verticle. Ill give it a little more trial and error and see what I can come up with. I love the flexability of this program. Thanks again. "T"

I think I get what you want to do, but am not sure. So I will give it a go.
First off, you really can only have one tab, not multiple ones. If you have more, but only have the dock one icon wide you won't be able to read any of them and they will probably look like crap anyway. So make a new tabbed dock (I think the default will be to be one icon tall, about 6 wide and have 3 or 4 tabs). Remove all but one of the tabs. You know have a dock with one tab, wide and short. Don't dock it anywhere yet. Add whatever icons you want (doesn't matter yet if there are too many to see all). Now, move to the bottom of the dock (opposite the tabs) and you will see a resize cursor appear. Click and drag. This will make your dock wide and tall. Now just go to one of the sides and do the same, but making it narrow. You will end up with a dock that is one icon wide and as tall as you want it. If you need to make it more tall just undock it again and drag on the bottom.

Yeah, BlueDev is right, I just tried it myself...when I created a new tabbed dock it started with 4 tabs and 3 icons. You can put your cursor over the lower corner and drag/resize it to be a drawer. If you checkmark the "drawer" feature in the setup, and select right or left side, it automatically turned it into a elongated drawer.
