General Question

Monday, March 14, 2005 by scotty2260 | Discussion: DesktopX

I just stumbled apon thsi whole 'customizing windows' thing and I had a question.
Whenversio 3 comes out, and where it says you can program things like 'widgets' and'gadgets', do you have to know C/C++ or any other language?

I know HTML, Actionscript, and PHP ver well, so if it's anything like those that it should be no problem. Thanks!

DesktopX uses VBScript or JScript. However, if you want to create plugins, you'd need to do that in C.

I took a C++ class and let me tell u it aint easy. Its nothing u are going to learn in a weekend, that's for sure. I would suggest you start out with VB.
