Way to backup OD for a new install?

Wednesday, March 9, 2005 by CyBeRiANN | Discussion: Docks

Just curious if there is a way to backup object dock when you're preparing for a new installation/formatting? I know that backing up the object dock folder doesn't work, as it doesn't remember my previous settings. I hate having to rebuild my dock each time I format etc.

Any information is appreciated.

After doing what Chris TH instructed, back-up your "Themes" folder, and any Backgrounds, Docklets, and Images that you installed to the ObjectDock sub-directory after installing.

Just replace them to the same folders they came from in the ObjectDock sub-directory after your format and install procedure.
